This is an interesting fan base. Has it been good though? Interesting is a good word for it. Which is fine. Because I feel like they need it in terms of the real world. Right, right, right. Especially in this environment. We feel like a real rock band. We play our instruments. The music coming out of the speakers is from those instruments. Exactly that.
I usually just kind of mess with them the entire night. Yeah, absolutely. And we all really enjoy it. That in the past, never ever ever happened. Joslin Brown. Sam Smith. Cori Bolas. Rly qt ok. Their second, and most recent album, Rotation, was released in , the band had broken up, and had only recently reunited with no album announcement in sight. The announcement of the Same Old Blood Rush Year tour was a surprise that delighted fans across the country.
With two fun opening sets from local San Jose artists Get Married and Callsign , the band took the stage to an excited crowd a little after ten o'clock. What I loved about the set was the fact that the band played their songs in half-step down tuning. AND, they had a nice tongue in cheek style to their lyrics. This is a good album. I'm honestly sorry, everyone, that it doesn't live up to rap and screamo to you guys. If the band sucked so bad, then they wouldn't have had such a large fanbase and reaction after the break-up.
I honestly can't tell if you're being a dick or not Review Summary: Rotation is an album that is bland and emotionless. Not an ounce of effort is present on this sophomore release. Rank: 0 for Lyrics are still terrible though.
Also, not obscure Typically, when one starts to read a review about an album or band they expect to hear a long, well-worded paragraph about the history and information about the band. No, I am not going to because frankly there is nothing to tell. Cute Is What We Aim For has no history despite having two albums out; they are not controversial nor are they from an interesting background. Part two comes as the bands sophomore release, Rotation , which was somehow a mile and a half worse than the previous, this is to bad for the band because their debut was no work of art to begin with.
