What is the difference between sky store and box office

Will I be able to watch the fight back after the event? Video on demand of the full evening's card will be available for up to 7 days after the event. Up to what date and time will I be able to buy the fight? Once the event has ended on Saturday evening, customers can no longer purchase the event.

Can I watch the fight outside of the UK? You can't watch Box Office in any non-EU countries. You don't need to do anything differently when watching Box Office outside the UK.

Just make sure the country you're in is covered, and start watching on any of our supported devices. You should see them within 30 minutes. When you rent a movie on your Sky box, you have up to seven days to press play. If the movie was available straight away, you'll have 24 hours to watch it from when you pressed play or 48 hours if you had to download it first. We recommend downloading the Sky Store Desktop Player, which is available at skystore. When you buy something, it's yours to keep. Today's premiere is The Death and life of John F. Donovan starring Kit Harrington. I'm a fan of Kit but after watching so many boring new premieres, my heart can only sink. Sky Store films seem to be on another level.

Sky doesn't seem to be making much effort to make it clear it wants its customers to pay for the top films. But the rental cost is more expensive than Prime Video. It's depends on whether that film is licensed to Sky in its first pay tv window or whether it's licensed to another service or broadcaster Movies are monetised by their distributors by licensing for a limited period of time and then letting another platform license and so on and so forth.

Sky nor any other platform cannot license movies in perpetuity unless they own it outright nor would it make financial sense to - Netflix and Amazon's licensed content changes on a regular basis as well. Sky Store is there to provide access to films not available via a subscription channel and I guess it's entirely your choice if you want to use it if there's a film there that's not available as part of the subscription.

And in regard to the premieres available, even if the pandemic was not an issue you are always going to get an eclectic choice of content that may or may not appeal and there simply aren't 'blockbuster' movies released each year not do Sky have output deals with every studio or indie distributor.

And this year it's going to be even more evident due to the lack of theatrical releases from March last year Sky are likely going to be acquiring direct to service movies, more films under the original brand and films that were originally set for theatrical release like Blithe Spirit and Antebellum. I just don't think that there is any excuse for the boring film choices, especially seeing the free choices on Prime Video.

But isn't that an issue of taste and preference? To you the choices might be boring and maybe very different to other customers? As a bit of a film enthusiast I've personally found a lot of stuff on the service in the last few years that veer to my taste but again my preferences may be very different to yours! I would also think that like other streaming platforms, Sky likely have much more data on hand so their choices are likely motivated by what other customers are watching Not really.

I'm one of those people who tend to reflect the general consensus, especially when it comes to film and music. I can listen to songs and pick out the hits, and the same applies to films. NOW TV is purely an on-demand and catch-up streaming service. Instead you can access the Virgin Media store, where you can buy and rent movies in a similar way.
